  • PPTP Client access Internet

    Hi All,

    I got a Windows 2003 Server in my datacentre with 100 real IPs How do i setup
    PPTP access to allow INTERNET for all my client. Got 2 Nic's

    i don't want to use split connection. pls help

    can you clarify a bit more like additional software and how you're thoughts are about this setup?

      HI,

      Just enable RRAS On Windows 2003 and setup as NAT VPN Server.

      Server got 2 NIC' Public and Local

      Public ips: 210.248.8.22, 138.22.34.1-----138.22.34.101
      Local :10.2.1.10


      can not connect to vpn server through client pptp

        you just need one public address.
        Haven't you a firewall?

        However, what doesnt work???

          Hi,

          No Firewall Server is in datacetre and want to manage this vpn and

          Want to access internet through the VPN server not through my network.

          Do i need t setup VPN with NAT or not?

              I can connect to PPTP Server but can not access internet through the server ?

                  I'm not exactly clear on what you're trying to accomplish, but if you're trying to allow your clients to connect to the internet throught the PPTP connection (and they can successfully connect to the PPTP server) then set the option on the client to "use gateway on remote network".
