  • User ID's getting locked

We are facing the issue with some of the user accounts getting locked automatically. Can anyone suggest a fix for this.

Look in the event logs of the Domain Controller for account lockout events. You'll need the "Account Lockout Tool" from Microsoft to find out which domain controller the account was locked out on. The account lockout event on that controller will show you which client machine generated the authentication event which locked out the account. What you need to do then is find out from the workstation event log what it was trying to do when the lockout occurred.

To be fair, it's usually cached passwords on the workstation or user's finger trouble.

For my own and your protection, I do not provide support by private message under any circumstances. All such messages will be deleted and ignored.

Anything you say will be misquoted and used against you
