  • Use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop

I am using 2003 server sp2 and the clients have xp machines.

I am experiencing a problem after i applied a desktop background through group policy.
the setting "Use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop" is not enabled and i get the icons with blue background. Thats annoying and all the users are complaining. Is there any posibility to fix this through group policy?! Please give me some advices....

    Thank you!

It will always come that way if you deply desktop background using GPO.

I am not sure if we can change this........

Copy the required background to each PC via a script. Change one PC to use the background and then export a REG file from the changed machine. Depoly the REG file via a logon script with the /s switch.
