Re: local policy does not allow you to login interactively"

    Hi, Guna.
I used the error message you got to search both Google and MS' Live Search. Take a look at the results and let us know if you found anything relevant:
    Google: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...actively&meta=
    Live Search: http://search.live.com/results.aspx?...c=IE-SearchBox
If you won;t solve your issue from there, please give more info:
    - what domain are we talking about? 2000? 2003? mixed?
    - what OS is your station installed with?
    - what is the "other machine"? Not part of the domain? Are you logging in locally?
    Hope this helps.

In my case ,counldn't logon in DC

I sort it out through group policy :
      Computer configuration
      Windows setting
      Security settings
      Local Policies/User Rights Assignment
      Allow log on locally
