  • Windows Server 2003 DHCP Pre-Defined Option Global change

    Hello all,

I am in a head scratching predicament.

I need to make a global change to a predefined option we have set on our DHCP servers. We have created an TFTP Option 150 for our IP telephones. The option has an array of IP's for the servers the phones require to contact. We are needing to change these IP addresses due the re-configuration of our Voice VLANs. I have made amendments to option 150 to include the new IP addresses of the IPT servers, but, there is always a 'but'. The changes have not applied to all scopes that have the option 150 selected.

Is it possible to make changes globally to all our voice scopes with 150 selected without having to go into each scope manually to make the change?

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance!

Have you put this new option under Server Options? Server Options are global and apply to all scopes unless specifically overridden at the Scope level or at the client.

Joeqwerty many thanks for your quick reply, but sorry for my delay.

I have now set the option to a server global. How do I override at the scope level so not to include it?
