  • Missing Ctrl+Alt+Del on Server 2003.

    Hello,

    - The Ctrl+Alt+Del logon prompt is missing on three of my servers.

    - All thee servers are running Windows server 2003.

    - All thee servers are Dell servers.

    - All thee servers are working just fine. Users can access them without any problems.

    - I am, however, unable to logon directly to the console or remote desktop to any of the three dell servers.

    - The console just shows a blue desktop screen with the mouse pointer.

    - The only way to get back to the console or RDS is to do physical "hard" shutdown. On reboot, the three servers consoles are accessable.

    - I don't know what triggers this behavior or how to get out of it once its on.

    - My other clone servers with W2K3 don't have this issue.

Did you have SP2 installed lately on those servers ?
    Take a look here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936594

Do you have teaming configured on those servers ?
