  • Windows Server 2003 Update Doesn't work

i have a windows server 2003 checkpoint firewall server installed that for some reason, just doesn't update from windows update anymore (it worked just fine a few weeks ago).

i have a SUS server and all other servers and workstations seem to be working just fine.

when i connect from this server, i get 0x801901E0 error.
searched in google and technet and no luck.

will appritiate anything that might help.
    Thanks in Advance

doesn't check point block the connection?
already looked in the smartview tracker?

and just because i'm curious: why are you running check point on a Windows machine, and not on secureplatform?

      Hi again,

i Meant i had the console installed, not the firewall itself (for the firewall i do use a secureplatform).

i believe that te source of the problem is with e-safe application filter.
need to check it out a bit deeper....

Have you tried reinstalling WU control as per http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=243787 ?
Is it in the Trusted zone ?

Do you have GPO making the client point to internal SUS ? (I guess you do). Try unlinking/filtering out the GPO and going to MS WU - you should get a more descriptive error message.
