    HI,

    I got event Event Type: Information

    Event Source: Save Dump
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 1001
    Date: 10/21/2007
    Time: 2:01:29 PM
    User: N/A
    Computer: BYTETECH02
    Description:
    The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000020 (0x00000000, 0x0000ffff, 0x00000000, 0x00000001). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP.

    But how I read memory.dmp I tried to open in notpad as well as wordpad but no profit.

          I have disabled my Trendmicro antivirus and it is working fine now.

            How did you think of TrendMicro? Did it show in the dump file?

              Hi,

              Memory.dmp is more then 2.70 GB so it I could not be open in notpad

              as well before occurred this problem I have moved pagefile.sys from C to D drive. so Is it related to with this issue ?

                The DMP file contains data that is not readable with Notepad, so the size of the file isn't the issue here... It's not an ASCII file.
                See the link wullieb1 gave you in his post, it contains all the info you may need to know to handle the minidump files.

                  memory.dmp file is in "kernal mode memory dump" and read this file about earlier article I need to change in Small memory dump (64k). from system property.

                  after changing this. Is it possible to server compromised ?

                      Hi,

                      when server was down after that it could not be up then I went in safe mode and disabled Trend micro service and then issue solved mean server was up, then start Trend micro But that problem occurred again and I had done same process.
