  • Windows 2003 server, Active Directory-DNS configuration

Hi, I have a w2k3 Server configured as DNS server and Active Directory installed and a shared ADSL Internet connection through the Windows capability ICS. I have two NICs, one connected with LAN and the other connected with the ADSL modem.

    The NIC's configuration is that:

    LAN NIC
    IP:192.168.0.1
    SM:255.255.255.0
    GW: (none)
    DNS: (none)

    NIC to ADSL modem
    IP:192.168.1.10
    SM:255.255.255.0
    GW:192.168.1.1 (IP of ADSL modem)
    DNS1 and DNS2: (my ISP's IPs)

My problem is that I can't make work the Domain Policy. These are not applied. I try to change the permisions but nothing. Something similar is happening with the shared folders. I can browse them in the clients but I don't have write permission on that, even if I logon as Administrator and configure the rights security permissions. I think I have a DNS problem.

If somebody can help me, I'll appreciate that.

Sorry for my pronunciation. I doesn't speak english.

    Gabriel
