  • RRAS NIC question

Our server only has one connected network card: it's behind a router. I just want to set up a VPN server, but the wizard forces me to select two NICs: one that connects the server to the internet, and one that connects it to the LAN. I can't select the same NIC twice, so what should I do?

    Re: RRAS NIC question

You havent said which server you are running, but IIRC in both 2000 and 2003 you cancel the wizard and just enable RRAS, then manually set up Remote Access Policies

      Re: RRAS NIC question

I too would just set it up as a RRAS server as I find it easier to configure and support.
