  • Regarding System STate data of with Different Domain name

Well I have one Windows Server 2003 that Acting as a DC and 10 Clients of Win XP.

Now some non technical person have very badly configured the Domain name of Active Directory.

Current active directory is working but the domain name is not given proper so I want to change the Domain name .

Can I rename the Domain in Windows Server 2003 ?

Second thing I have a backup of System State Data now suppose I may remove the Active directory and reinstall the Active Directory with different domain name so Can I restore that backup of System State Data in current new Active Directory or not ?

How should I proceed in this situation?

Pl help me on this matter?
