      Re: cannot join to domain

      I did this search before
and I restarted the server but it still the same problem
and the server which I'm talking about. it made from good components so.
isn't there any another reason ?
      by the way
when I checked the active directory I saw this photo

and the selected computer is the computer which I'm talking about.
and I changed it to enable but when I tried to join this machine again to the domain it returned to disable

        Hi,
Is there an error in the event logs maybe?
Have you tried deleting the computer object altogether?
I don't know anything about (you or your) computers.

                  Re: cannot join to domain

Are you sure all windows firewalls are disabled between the two devices?
                  Is DNS ok?
Is the server placed on a different subnet?
If yes, is routing setup ok?
Are they using the same Gateway?

                  Anything in the eventviewers?
Are the networkcables ok (eg is there continues connectivity?)

the event log doesn't have any error belong to this issue and there is a connection between the two computers

no I have to rename the computer to rejoin the computer. but even if I change the (firewall) computer to any other name it gives me error

Are you able to run a crossover cable between the 2 machines. This removes anything in between that may be causing a problem.
Has any anti virus been installed on the machine that won't join?
Have you tried using the FQDN of your domain on the machine you are trying to join?
