  • moving up from mixed mode

I have built a network which is now reasonably stable and I want to change the role of the servers from mixed to 2003 mode. all clients are 2000 or xp but we do have some older software on some of the PC's will this change effect anything and what are the benefits to doing this?

    Hi jonny_2good.

I hope this will answer your question regarding Windows 2003 AD

    http://www.computerperformance.co.uk...xedvnative.htm

Personally I will be on a project of Design and Implement Windows 2003 Active Directory "Federated" Forest. Federated Forest is a new concept of Windows 2003. If you would like to read about it. Here's the link:

    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../fedffin2.mspx

I got the part with resource sharing between forests but administration between forests. I'll need you guys help on that later

If you need further assistance please let me know,

    Regards,
