  • info about trust reletionship in 2003

    hello everyone,

I'm a newbie, i'm stil trying to get certified as MCSA so please be gentle with me...

I need to know if there's a difference between two computers that have trust relationship with each other and two computers that are in the same forest (but not in the same domain)

    Thank's

Trust Relationships are between domains -- all computers in a domain automatically trust each other.

In AD, trust relationships are automatically established between parent and child domains, also between domain trees in the same forest, so there should be no need to establish trusts in a forest.

You will need to manually establish trusts:
Outside a forest to other AD forests
To Non AD Domains / Forests
    As shortcuts in a forest
