  • Formatting the hard disk with Windows XP installed

I am not sure whether this is the correct forum in which to ask this question but I am pretty desperate. I unwittingly installed a parrallel copy of Windows XP on my computer when my original copy was corrupted (how??). This was in itself not a problem, but as I could not uninstall it for some reason a friend just deleted all the files. So now I have two non functional forms of XP pro on my computer, with all the problems you can imagine.

I can get to the command prompt and have been able to recover all the data I need. Now I want to just format the hard disk, repartition it and reinstall XPpro and generally just clear the system. Can anyone direct me to some clear, unequivocal and userfriendly instructions on how to do it.

    Many thanks

Put Windows XP CD into the CD ROM drive.
    Boot from CD ROM.
    Follow XP installation prompts.

    2 2 was 1 2.
    1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
    2 2 1 1 2
