  • File Server Resource Manager Problem

    Hi,

in the last few days I've came across a weird problem.
    Windows 2003 server, Enterprise Edition + SP1.

while adding quota in the "File Server Resource Manager" the add quota goes well.
When trying to edit the quota properties the window freezes, no matter what you'll do it will not get released until killing the File Server Resource Manager with 'end task'.
in the event viewer i can see in the Application section event ID 8193, SRMSVC source.

Couldn't find any references to this specific problem.
    Any ideas will be appreciated.

Attaching screen shot of the problem.

    10X

    Poly.

        Hi Biggles,

Well, problem was solved in the oldest way known to human beings: we've restarted the server
It seems like there was a "stuck" DLL somewhere...

        thanx a bunch anyway!
