  • "document control" with SharePoint Services 3.0

I need an answer to the folowing question as soon as possible:

For a "document control" solution, with aprovals, document flow, and so on... can i use SharePoint Services 3.0? Or do I really need the complete MOSS version?
I would prefer not to spend money on other licences and I'm wondering if I can use the builtin version of Windows Server 2003.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mihai

Here was my first hit in Google on the differences:

I'd start w/ a proof-of-concept using WSS against a real SQL Server instance (else a 2 GB limit on data) and see if it works for you. Upgrade to SharePoint Server if required.
    Cheers,

    Rick
