DO you have any Exchange running at present?
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.

If you have a Exchange2000/2003 this is the only way you have to upgrade. Infact Exchange2000/2003 works only on 32bit OS, instead Exchagne2007 works only on 64bit.

Review the documentation at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb125169.aspx before going on with install.

the E12 will just be installed on the 64 bit, but that's when you decide to really put the exchange live, if you are now talking about DC and ADC one with 32 and another with 64 bit hardware, no this won't make any problems, and i done that a lot already. But later the E12 will be on the 64 only and still won't make any problems. at the end of each server there is a physical layer which is NICs that are talking in the same language.. which is packets !

                Cheers

                  but...

i know that there was a problem with gpmc for the server 2003R2 64bit...

and if the 2 DC's one 64bit and one 32 bit will replicate... will every thing be ok and working?

You must use GPMC on a 32bit 2003server or XpSp2 system.
Once modified the policies can be corectly replicated over 64bit machines.

sounds good... do M$ plan to build 64bit gpmc? or are they focusing now on longhorn server...

the GPMC is not in the scope of the replication, and yes, the replication will be fine 100%
