  • Win2K Server, PIX 506e VPN question

    Hi everyone,

I posted a similar question a few minutes ago in the Cisco Security forum.

I have a PIX 506e in front of a Windows network...with a Windows 2K DC....and am trying to set up a simple remote access VPN, but am having trouble. I have done this in the past, but for some reason it is not working now.

I have tried setting up both a Cisco VPN and a PPTP VPN.....with both I end up getting authentication errors.

I was wondering if someone could please go the steps that I need to do to set one up?

I think it is set up correctly in the firewall....I think my problem lies at the domain controller. I dont know if I have forgotten something, or misconfigured something etc....but something on the DC is not right.

Unfortunately I am not at work right now or else I would post the error messages I get when trying to logon.

    Thanks!
    Mike
