  • Windows 2000: printers not listed in directory services

    Hi,

I have a network with 2 DC and 3 member servers. All printers are configured on one member server. All printers were located in the directory services.

One day, a technician install all the printers on one of the DC, share and publish them with the same name (without approbation), when I notice this error I did check the DS and then no printers were listed.

So I decided to unshare and remove printers of the directory servers from the DC server. After that I did unpublish and republish the printers on the member server. All the printers came back but disappear short time later.

Is any way to resolve this issue.

    Thanks

    Anormand

For the last year we only get 4 replications error in the event log (13508 and 13509). In this circonstance is the replication could stop working?
Scripts, Users and Groups are replicating successfully.

The only missing are the Printers listed in the DS.

Are you having replication problems also? If so, those need to be resolved first and foremost.
