  • http://intranet/ does not point to our intranet anymore?

It seems to be only my notebook. If I try to access the intranet my PC tries to goto http://202.175.95.171

    I have executed:
    IPCONFIG /FlushDNS
    ....with no change.

I even tried setting this up in Windows\System32\Drivers\etc:
    192.64.10.10 intranet
    ....and that doesn't work either.

But it does work on other workstations! What do I do now?

Mind you, it used to work.

Do you have the right proxy set up for your browser? Looks like it might be trying to use an internet search engine to search for what you typed but can't find it...

that IP address does not appear to be serving a web service, but it IS running a telnet server.

Thanks Tom. Interestingly, IE had it's Proxy set to that IP address, port 8080. Must be one of the Proxy Switching applications I was testing last month! But why would that affect FF??
