  • Windows Server 2003 In-place upgrade

We are planning to do 'in-place' upgrading of windows 2003 std sp1 server to windows 2003 enterprise sp1.

The box to be upgraded is a domain controller running dns, dhcp and dfs

We will be doing this from the enterprise source copied to the server to be upgraded.

Do I just run setup.exe from the source area or run winnt32.exe from i386 on the source area

I take it I will also require the enterprise cd key

    Any help appreciated
    Regards
    Wayne

Standard to Enterprise is a supported upgrade path so you should be fine do what you described.
