  • Sharring a folder...

I have Windows 2003 Standard. I work the server as a Print server, Mail Server, Domain Controller, Dns Server.
I saw that some folders are shared and accessible. The folders "NETLOGON" and "SYSVOL". How can I make them invisible or lock them down?
    Thank you

    Re: Sharring a folder...

These two folders are created by the system, when you install DC on a server. Thus, you should not mess with them, unless you have special problems. By default, plain users can only read their contents, not write.
An article you should read before doing anything else:
    - What is SYSVOL?
BTW, your title is misleading , you might want to consider changing it...
