  • How to give domain users the right to install software/printers

I would just like to know how I can give a normal user the rights to install software or a printer on his computer, while he is still only part of the "Domain users" group in Windows Server 2003 R2? The user's computer is XP based.

    Thanks.

Adding "Domain Users" to local "Power Users" group should do the trick

i am almost sure you can do this also via GPO with (Restricted Groups) so you dont need to go to 10+ computers...
for more information about this just ask....
