    Please HELP me....

I am planning to remove my Windows Server 2003 x32 bit Enterprise Edition and replace it with another machine with the same configuration except that it's x64 bit. In the machine (x64 bit) going to be the DC can I make it DC by restoring the system state from the x32 bit Server?

    Please HELP me...

AFAIK 32 to 64 bit restore will not work.

    Why not:
    1) Build new server
    2) Join to domain
    3) DCPromo
    4) Transfer FSMOs
    5) DCPromo old DC
