  • How can I disabled CD and USB in windows 2003 GPO for users ?

    hello everyone
    I have adm file download it from microsoft and import it to my GPO to Disable USB and CD Rom but it works on computers not by user.
    I need some users in my network cann't use cd rom and usb from ANY PC .

    plz help

        No, it is what appears to be a solution to your problem of disabling USB devices using GPO. Did you read the recommended article and follow some of the links?

        Post reported to admins/forum mods. I suggest some editing and an apology is in order pdq.

          We're very glad that you think it's a different topic, yet, based upon your 4 posts on this forum I fear that we're dealing with someone that's just trying to look smart (you). I strongly suggest you edit your post (that is AFTER you start reading some basic netiquette and RTFM).

            I could be wrong, but from what I understand, it is only possible to block USB devices IN XP per COMPUTER, not per USER. In Vista, it is possible to block per user.
