  • clear last user from ctrl alt del screen

I have seen this done, but am not sure where to find the setting.
How do you make win 2003 server clear the last login username from the ctrl alt del field

Re: clear last user from ctrl alt del screen

If you're using GPO (thus AD environment), edit the policy on the server like this: go to
Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options
and there you have Interactive Logon: Do not display last user name. Just change the value of this rule to Enabled.
If you are in a non-AD environment, you will find the same configuration in the Local Policy.
    Good luck.
