  • Problem in accessing windows2003

    I have 3 pc in my setup one is Windows2003 standard edition as a standalone pc and 2nd is windows2000p and 3rd is windows 2003 standard. Problem is that i am not able to access all of them pc from together.

    I'm sorry, but I dont understand what you are asking for
    Are you saying you cannot access any of the 3 PCs from elsewhere, or that none can access each other, or that some cant access others.

    Please check:
    All have IP addresses in the same subnet
    All belong to the same workgroup
    All network cabling is working OK

      yes u caught right. all the pc has same range ip and same workgroup intresting thing is some times they can access each other.

        OK, so the 3 PCs have occasional problems accessing each other.
        Could it be a faulty switch?

        How are they getting their IP addreses?

        How are they getting DNS?
