  • Fax service redial settings?

I have a modem installed in Windows Server 2003 and the fax service installed and shared out across the network. Although I have no difficulty sending a fax, I can not find where to configure the retry if the recipients fax line is busy.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

Check in Printer and faxes icon in control pannel. Select your fax icon and view its properties. The redial option should be there.

Unfortunately not. The properties has a configuration' tab which only has a shortcut to the Fax Service Manager. I have been all through the Fax Service Manager and have had no luck.

      Thanks anyway.

I went back for a third look in the Fax Service Manager and found it. That was sure tucked away.

        Thanks once again.

Rob, can you post a screenshot of where it was? If you had a problem finding then other will too and a screenshot will help. Thanks.

Once you have found it, it sort of makes sense that is where it would be (but only after the setting WAS found).

Thanks Rob!! (Now I know where to find it)
