        Maybe you can explain in more detail what you already tried, what happens, if you see any errors etc.

            Re: Routing and Remote Access - Maximum ports limit

            Can web edition be used for RRAS??

            Found this:

            Virtual private network (VPN) connections are limited to one per media type: local area network (LAN), remote access (dial-up), and direct cable connection. Server Message Block (SMB) connections are limited to 10 simultaneous connections.

            but it doesn't explain too much

                On Windows Server 2003, Web Edition, and Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition, you can create up to 1,000 Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) ports, and you can create up to 1,000 Layer Two Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) ports. However, Windows Server 2003, Web Edition, can accept only one virtual private network (VPN) connection at a time. Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition, can accept up to 1,000 concurrent VPN connections. If 1,000 VPN clients are connected, further connection attempts are denied until the number of connections falls below 1,000.
                @TS,
                Can you post the exact error message?

                          Like you see, it may not be possible on Windows 2003 Web Edition. Move to 2003 Standard edition to make sure it's possible.

                          Personally i see the webeditions almost never used, and i personally i will only use it on WEB servers. The webedition has some lack of functionallity, and thats why this software is cheeper.
