  • Password change prompt

    Hi All

In terms of our new security policy we are not meant to show what is wrong when a password change or user logon happens. i.e. if a user type a wrong id or changes password and uses wrong details (too short etc etc) Windows 2003 gives you a nice concise description of what is wrong.

    Can this be turned off?

Secondly is there a resource somewhere where the DLL for pasword quality testing is available. The default is just too serious but no testing is also not good enough.

Lastly, is it possible to display to the user their last logon/logoff/etc details. Something similar to the "Active Directory Users and Computers context menu" on this site, but not just a contect thingy but actually displaying at every succesful logon.

    Thanks

    Carlo

This is possible through a script but im not sure if it is information normally available to a user (through AD security).
