  • Unlock a file that is being used

    Hello,

I am not sure this is the right place to ask, but i'll shoot.
I am a Sys Admin in my network (Win 2003, Active Directory).
Now the question is, a few users leave the computer open at nights, and leave some files opened (Excell/Word).
I need to close thier connection at night to some of the files automatically.
How can i schedule a batch to close the connection ?

    Thanks,

    Thanks & Regards

The net file is the right command to do this
you can put this command in bach file in the pre backup command and the files will be auto closed before backup
