  • OWA Not Showing RWW

    Hi,

Recently I installed an SBS2003 server using exchange. Unfortunately I can't seem to get the Outloook Web Access Link to appear under the Remote Web Workplace, to get to mail I have to login with http://servername/exchange like you had to with exchange 2000.

From my reading up on things and discussions I am thinking it may have something to do with an update to sharepoint. I have installed SBS a few times before and OWA usually shows up in RWW. The only difference this time I think is that I did the install on Windows 2003 sr1 and other windows updates??.

If you know of a reason of fix for this I would be very greatful.

    Thank you,

    LG

    LG,

The links in RWW are generated from the registry. If there was a glitch during the install, then perhaps the registry key didn't get created properly.

While you can go in and edit it ([HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusines sServer\RemoteUserPortal*\KWLinks] ) I'd suggest that instead you uninstall and reinstall IIS 6.0 which will rebuild all of this. Mostly because if there's one small thing missing it leaves one to wonder what else may not be there.
