  • Integrating a Macbook Pro into a windows domain

I have been asked to look into the possible solutions for integrating and managing a macbook pro into a windows domain and Active Directory. I want to be able to manage it just like all the other windows machine.

I need for the user to be able to login to an activity directory account, be able to amend and control the machine via GPO

What are the possible solution with their advantages and disadvantages?

The Domain controller is Windows SBS 2011 Standard

You can add a windows account to the mac to access network resources, but as far as group policies go, you are completely out of luck without third party solutions e.g. http://www.centrify.com/mac/group-po...x-desktops.asp
