  • Screwed up DNS of sbs 2011

BPA was giving me errors. One of the options was to delete an a record in forward lookup zones. So I deleted a complete zone.

I have a screendump what in it now! See attach picture with the third missing zone! How do I get it back? I realy don't know what name it was! In my mind it was somthing like zet-art.local but I'm not sure!

I never did something with DNS, it was out of the box. These are my first steps into DNS, so please keep it simple. What to do!

Since it is SBS, suggest you re-run the wizards and all should get re-configured for you

Tried that but DNS settings remained the same! What am I missing?

Well today I start all over again. Format the drive and put up sbs 2011 all over again! I don't see another way!

Just follow the DNS wizard, right click server and create a forward lookup zone and reverse lookup zone, easy.

Nope I still getting errors! So now I've setup SBS 2011 from scratch! It's working now as it should be! The entrance where more than when I use the Wizard! At least no faults at this point! Now I'm updating the thing again! And that takes a lot of my time! Thks for thinking with me guys!
