  • Server 2000 SP4 to SBS 2011

Does anyone know from first-hand experience if a Windows Server 2000 SP member server can join an SBS 2011 domain? My customer has an old application server that they are not able to retire yet and it has to be a part of an SBS 2011 network. I do not want to find out at the last minute that it will not join the domain.

    Thanks,

NOT SBS, but I have had Server 2000 in a Server 2008R2 domain (not as a DC, obviously)

You should have no problems joining the 2000 server to the domain as a member server.
