SBS 2003 upgraded to SP4. Although no 3rd party apps were currently loaded that use SQL, SQL was also updated to SP4?????Why, I have no idea. Now, we need to load 2 applications that require SQL but have conflicts with SP4. Is there any way to roll the SP4 pack back so we can load the 3rd party apps? Any help. GreatlY appreciated.

If you open add/remove programs and click the check box to show updates it might show the service pack install. If it does uninstalling it would roll it back to SP3 (or to whatever SP you had before SP4).

Thanks much. I failed to mention that SBS is the Standard Edition. There is no reference to SP installs other than sbs2003 sp/1.

I guess that you installed the SBS with SP1 build in. Its install the MDSE for WSS, Monitoring etc. with SQL SP4.
