  • GPO's not applying

I'm switching out my PC for a new PC and I'm running into some issues. I noticed that the folder redirection wasn't working and consequently noticed that most of the GPOs were not being applied. Everything was working on the old PC, and I believe I set this one up correctly (using the wizard http://connect). Here's what I'm getting from gpresult /v

The following GPOs were not applied because they were filtered out
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
    Update Services Common Settings Policy
    Filtering: Not Applied (Empty)
Small Business Server Update Services Client Computers Policy
    Filtering: Denied (Security)
    Small Business Server Folder Redirection
    Filtering: Denied (Security)
    SharePoint Psconfig Notification Policy
    Filtering: Disabled (GPO)
    SMB Signing Disabled
    Filtering: Not Applied (Empty)
    Update Services Server Computers Policy
    Filtering: Denied (Security)
Small Business Server Domain Password Policy
    Filtering: Not Applied (Empty)
    Local Group Policy
    Filtering: Not Applied (Empty)
    Update Services Client Computers Policy
    Filtering: Denied (Security)
Small Business Server Update Services Server Computers Policy
    Filtering: Denied (Security)

Any ideas on what could be going on?

    Re: GPO's not applying

I figured it out. It was actually just the folder redirection policy that I had made a change to in the delegations tab for Domain Admins. During my sbsmigration from 2003 to 2011, I had turned off folder redirection for domain admins. The account I was trying to set up was a domain admin account thus no folder redirection. Whoops!
