  • questions about joining server 2008 to SBS 2008

I'm trying to join Server 2008 R2 64bit to our SBS 2008 domain via the http://connect functionality and gett the attached rejection message.

What version of Server 2008 will work with connect or must it be done by a traditional method?

Note this new server will not be a DC only joined to the domain to run vendor specific software.

Should I be using a non-R2 version? 32bit version? I'm very confused by what info I'm seeing on the intertubes!

    Thanks.

Looks as if you have to do it the "old fashioned" way:
