Can we still use the 2003 version of sbs, also I was advised by our tech team that we have a premium version.

    Re: Version registration problems

You can certainly still use it -- in fact IIRC it is still (just) in support life. Getting additional CALs will, however, be a problem
Premium version gives you SQL as well

Having said that, it is nearly 10 years and 3 versions old so if you can, please do consider an upgrade to SBS 2011 -- you get a lot more, especially with Exchange 2010

Are you having any particular problems?

IMHO SBS 2003 is still the "best ever" SBS and whatever people may have said about it, I liked ISA as a firewall - especially as it was integrated into the system and the Wizards.
Having said that, I agree with Ossian, that it is now getting a little long in the tooth and, especially if you put a modern anti-virus management system on it, then 4GB max memory is a real limitation. All newer SBS's are 64-bit and therefore overcome that limit.
      TIA

Iím honoured to have been selected for the SMB 150 list for 2013. This is the third time in succession (no logo available for 2011) that I have been honoured with this award.
