    hi all

my mean is to allows suers to connect to active sync
i dont want do open a direct access to sbs
so i thougt users can connent to cas, that will get to sbs

is this the best way of allowing active sync with security?
    can sbs work with cas?

Adding a separate Client Access Server isn't going to help. You still have to provide direct access to the Internet to a domain system, so you may as well open it directly to SBS.

If you want to put something between SBS and the Internet then you would need to deploy TMG instead, which is designed to do this job. Although personally I have no problem with opening port 443 directly to SBS, as it allows use of RWW, Outlook Anywhere, OWA as well as ActiveSync.
