  • Greedy OS!

    Good morning gents!

Attached two pictures, would someone be able to explain to me why I'm at 98% RAM?

Sbs, so it handles everything. Small small small bit of sharepoint, good amount of bes express, email, etc.

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Greedy OS!

Exchnage generally grabs as much memory as possible to use and releases it when other applications need it.

Maybe this will explin a bit more

The BAS-AS.exe file is your BES administration server and again this usage looks pretty normal to me. There is a link somewhere in the RIM KB that says you can't use the Admin console until it gets past a certain memory usage point, circa 250MB.

Not a link to the doc but some interesting reading

As already said, very standard behaviour for Exchange on SBS -- it will gracefully drop RAM for other processes but will take it back when it can
