  • Clients Not Reporting Securitt Status Correctly

    Hi All,

I'm hoping that someone can shed some light on a problem I have with an SBS 2008 system.

Currently, under the Security Status section in the SBS Management Console, a lot of machines are either showing:

Permission to Security Centre might not be granted on this computer

The client computer cannot be contacted. It might be offline.

The above issues have only just occured recently and I am putting it down to a change in AV package a short while ago. However, before I call up the AV Geeks and bend their ears, is there anything I can check client/server side at all?

    Thanks in advance,

    The General.

Check for dead DNS entries and set scavenging on the DNS itself.
