We have a problem with a small business server 2008 to connect with outlook anywhere (RPC over HTTP).
It has worked in the past.

When we do a test with testexchangeconnectivity.com we get the next error message.

Attempting to ping RPC endpoint 6001 (Exchange Information Store) on server ubink. The attempt to ping the endpoint failed. Tell me more about this issue and how to resolve it

    Additional Details

The RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE error (0x6ba) was thrown by the RPC Runtime process.

We can open the ports with telnet from a remote computer.

    Any suggestions.

      Did you
      a) Re-run the Wizard?
      b) Check the link to Microsoft (above but also: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/l...EXCHG.80).aspx)

Please make a connection internally like set up a new users make a connection for Outlook anywhere with exactly the same settings as you would do it from outside.
If this works then your next troubleshooting comes at your firewall if firewall is working and allowing incoming connections then it would be your Active directory and DNS. let me know how you get on keep us posted of your findings.
