  • Upgrade from SBS 2008 after hitting 75 user limit

    Hi all,

Just wondering how I go about upgrading a client who is approaching the 75 user limit on SBS 2008. In the past you purchased transition packs, and I think they came with media you just installed and it broke SBS down to the component software products, but there isn't anything like that for SBS 2008. I spoke with MS regarding their Solutions Pathway offering, but all they did was try to sell me licenses for the individual components (Server 2008 and Exchange 2007), but they had no idea about the actual technical aspect of the upgrade. I really would rather avoid having to perform a clean install. I've also sent an email off to sbsmigration.com to see if I need to go with one of their solutions.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    James
