  • SBS 2003 Add user wizard creates wrong email

    Hi Guys,
When I create a user ''info'' . The user wizard creates [email protected] email instead of [email protected]. Even if i change it later to info. email can only be received at [email protected]. How can i sort this out. Please help.

I would look for something else (probably a public folder) with the [email protected] address and change that

Another object already has the [email protected] email address. It's either an additional email address on another user object, a Public Folder, a Distribution Group, or a mail-enabled Security group.

              FYI
The easiest way to resolve this is to open Outlook, enter [email protected]<domain.tld> in the "To" address and hit Ctrl-K (resolve names) and see who it resolves to.
              TIA
