  • common reason for redirect folder issues with XP systems?

SBS 2008 server. All Win7 clients are happy campers with redirected folders but XP clients are hit or miss. After a reboot (we use auto login scripts) we get many messages about the client/user not being able to connect to the redirected folder. Thus their desktop does not populate...yet we can open up explorer and browse right to the redirected folder for that user on the SBS!

Is something logging in to quickly before redirected is given permission? is this common with XP systems?

I wish I had a screenshot for you but simply have not got it yet. Any thoughts?

I regularly get "all network drives could not be reconnected" messages on desktops, but apart from the annoyance, it seems benign.
