  • Controlling CMD screen layout programmatically

I'd like to programmatically start a new CMD shell and set the screen width, height, and possibly the font. I know about the GUI functions for setting these attributes but I was wondering if there was some undocumented way to do it without having to do make the user do it.

Is there some undocumented intrinsic command like color or title?
Is there some undocumented CMD option?
Is there some escape sequence that I could echo that would do it?

So far the only way that I can imagine doing it is to make a copy of CMD.EXE and then set the screen layout for it specifically. I don't want to stoop to such a method because there are all kinds of scenarios that would cause it to break.

    Thanks for your consideration.
