  • Trend Micro Officescan SBS 2003

    Hi
I have installed TrendMicro on a SBS2003 server
Its working fine and all the XP clients are working fine
I have also a Server 2003 standard installed in the same domain and I installed the Officescan client on that server. So far so good. But when I try to update the Server2003 I get the error : cannot connect to the Officescan server. In the console on de the SBS2003 server I can not see the Server 2003
    Who can help me ?

Which trend product do you have

    trend micro neatsuite

    trend micro officescan client/server

    trend micro client/server messaging suite

it may be that you have deployed the officescan client to the server this is for workstations only, officescan server is used for servers.

check your documentation that came with the product.

      Hi

I have trend micro officescan client/server 7.0 incl hotfix 1
When I install the client on a client I get the following screen

Installing the OfficeScan client software requires the target computer to be running Windows XP/2000/NT/2003

I can even do a remote install from the sbs server to the windows 2003 server

Please uninstall the client from the 2003, reboot, install hotfix 2.0 on the Trend server

        http://www.trendmicro.com/download/p...sp?productid=5

        and re-reploy the AV.
Also, verity correct timezone + time settings in the 2003 server.

        Regards,

        Yuval

Sorry, but how does this relate to the SBS Forum. Take you post and put it in the Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server Forum.
