  • Active Directory User Home Path

    Hi All,

I'm tyring to make a Home path for users in my active directory but it doesn't seem to work.

In the home path section i enter "E:\Home\%username%" and click apply and it acts like it works, but when i go into my E drive and my home folder there is no username for the User.

I've messed around with all the permissions, gave full permissions and still nothing.

I've tried the connect "E:" to servername\share\%username% and still nothing.

Any Ideas on how to get this to work.

    I'm using windows server 2003 sp2

    Thanks

Re: Active Directory User Home Path

You should use a UNC path in ADUC e.g.
\\servername\sharename\%username% where E:\home is shared as \\servername\sharename. If you put in a direct path it will look for a drive E: on the local machine
